<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent drawbacks by water by storing both ends of batteries ideally in a case while cooling the batteries extremely efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack stores the secondary batteries 2 in the case 1. The battery pack has in the case 1 a pair of division walls 3 passing both ends of the secondary batteries 2 in a watertight manner to separate the interior of the case 1 into a cooling chamber 4 between and inside the pair of division walls 3 and closed chambers 5 outside the division walls 3. The case 1 divides the cooling chamber 4 and the closed chambers 5 by the division walls 3 in the watertight structure, where the secondary batteries 2 are positioned at both ends in the closed chambers 5 and in the middle in the cooling chamber 4. The cooling chamber 4 opens out from the case 1 and ventilates the case 1 to air-cool the middle of the secondary batteries 2. The battery pack stores the ends of the secondary batteries 2 in the case 1 as dividing the closed chambers 5, where the ends of the secondary batteries 2 are positioned, from the cooling chamber 4 by the division walls 3 in the watertight structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
