PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling work efficiency of a shaft drive-type motorcycle. SOLUTION: This drive shaft case is a cylindrical case 35 to which a drive shaft 32 for transmitting drive force from a transmission T of an engine E of the motorcycle 20 to a rear wheel 22 is inserted, and is provided with: a case body 33 having an opening part 57 along the axis line direction of the drive shaft 32 and storing the drive shaft 32 inwardly via the opening part 57; and a cover 34 detachably mounted to the case body 33 so as to close the opening part 57.
