PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient intimidation crime prevention device for always accurately developing crime prevention effects by automatically judging whether or not a suspicious person has intruded into a building, and performing intimidation lighting only when the suspicious person has intruded into the building. SOLUTION: This intimidation crime prevention device is provided with a human body sensing sensor 3 and an illumination apparatus 2 arranged in a building, an authentication reader 4 for deciding whether or not a user is a preliminarily registered legitimate person; and a control unit 5 for controlling the illumination apparatus 2 based on an output signal from the human body sensing sensor 3 and the authentication reader 4. When a human body sensing signal is output from the human body sensing sensor 3 in such a status that the legitimate person is not authenticated by the authentication reader 4, the control unit 5 makes the illumination apparatus 2 perform intimidation lighting according to this.
