PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for vehicle start support, and a vehicle having the vehicle start support device, capable of reducing an acceleration operation of a driver, and also increasing break operation responsiveness of the driver, when the driver advances the vehicle to a position sufficiently capable of checking a surrounding state after a temporary stop. SOLUTION: The vehicle start support device includes a present position detection means 40 for detecting the present position of the own-vehicle, a temporary stop crossing detection means 20 for detecting a necessary temporary stop position at which the own-vehicle is to be stopped temporarily ahead of the own-vehicle, a viewing position detection means 30 for detecting a position of the own-vehicle at which the driver can obtain a viewing range to be no smaller than a predetermined range, a stop detection means 50 for detecting the temporary stop of the own-vehicle, and a start support means 60 for making a creep torque greater as the distance between the own-vehicle stop position and the viewing capability position is longer, when the own-vehicle temporarily stops at a position behind the viewing position.
