PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in direct vapor deposition properties and low-temperature impact resistance and a molded article for housing a vehicle lighting fixture lamp. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (A) of an acrylic rubber-reinforced styrenic resin alone or a mixture of an acrylic rubber-reinforced styrenic resin and another thermoplastic resin and 0.01-5 pts.wt. polymer mixture (B) containing 1-99 wt.% polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer (b1) and 99-1 wt.% polymer (b2), and the above polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer (b1) is obtained by polymerizing 40-10 pts.wt. polymerizable monomer (b1-2) in the presence of 60-90 pts.wt. polyorganosiloxane (b1-1) obtained by polymerizing an organosiloxane and a graft crosslinking agent.
