OPTICAL FIBER TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Provided is an optical fiber temperature sensor wherein temperature measurement error is reduced. The sensor is provided with an optical fiber, an optical frequency difference adjusting section, a light source system, a spectrum measuring section, a temperature calculating section and a correcting section. The light source system outputs probe light and pump light whose center frequencies are set corresponding to the instruction given from an optical frequency difference instructing section to different end sections of the optical fiber. The temperature calculating section obtains the temperature of an object based on the BGS of a first area measured by the spectrum measuring section. The correcting section outputs a correction instruction to the light source system so that the center frequency of the BGS of the second area accords with a reference value.
