The method involves installing peripheral elements (S1...S27) of the alarm system and supplying them with energy. Receivers of the peripheral elements are switched on to search for a registration request. A main station (1) starts a registration process and transmits a registration request. The peripheral elements register themselves with the main station after reception of the registration request.
