<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston seal member and a disc brake using the piston seal member, which are excellent in heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The piston seal member 8 is formed by a rubber component of a cross linking body containing 70 to 160 parts by weight which are 20 to 60 parts by weight of first carbon black and 50 to 100 parts by weight of second carbon black combined, and 5 to 20 parts by weight of a carbon nano fiber having an average diameter of 0.5 to 500 nm for 100 parts by weight of ethylene propylene rubber. The first carbon black has an average particle diameter of 35 to 100 nm, and a DBP oil absorption amount of 50 to 200 ml/100 g. The second carbon black has an average particle diameter greater than that of the first carbon black, and an average particle diameter of 60 to 500 nm, and a DBP oil absorption amount of 5 to 50 ml/100 g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
