PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin bottle excellent in a pressure reducing/absorbing function while including design characteristics, and capable of sufficiently meeting a demand for thinning a bottle in recent years.SOLUTION: A synthetic resin bottle is obtained by: forming a trunk part 3 so as to include a portion enlarging a diameter toward a bottom part 4 from a borderline BL with an opening part 2; and arranging in a prescribed range along the height direction of the bottle 1 with a base end as the borderline BL with the opening part 2 of the trunk part 3, by alternately repeating along the circumferential direction of the trunk part 3, a repeating unit including a columnar protrusion part 32 extending along the height direction of the bottle 1 from the base end to the terminal end in the range, and a repeating unit including a rib-like protrusion part 33 comprising an upper protrusion 331 positioned on the base end in the range, and a lower protrusion 332 positioned on the terminal end in the range. |
