PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device for transmitting a packet or packet frame while recovering from an error in reception data in packet communication by retransmission.SOLUTION: A transmission device 100 comprises: a retransmission transmission unit 230 and retransmission reception unit 235 which determine necessity of retransmission of reception data in a packet transmitted from an opposite transmission device 100' according to a predetermined determination criterion, and perform retransmission request to the opposite transmission device when requesting retransmission; a classification processing unit 215 for determining whether or not a normally received packet corresponds to a low delay transmission class on the basis of a predetermined class determination criterion; an order control unit 265 for performing reordering-related recovering processing on only packets excluding packets classified in the low delay transmission class; and a general purpose output queue 255 for temporarily storing a packet determined to correspond to the low delay transmission class and a packet on which the reordering-related recovering processing is performed, until transmitting the packets to the outside. |
