An outer frame and a display device. The outer frame is used for packaging the edge of a liquid crystal module (2) and comprises at least one sub-frame (1); the sub-frame (1) comprises a side panel (11), a first packaging plate (12), a second packaging plate (13) and a support plate (14); the side panel (11) is formed integrally with the first packaging plate (12) and the second packaging plate (13) is formed integrally with the support plate (14); a first accommodating groove (15) for accommodating the edge of the liquid crystal module (2) is defined by the side panel (11), the first packaging plate (12) and the support plate (14) in an enclosure manner; a second accommodating groove (16) for accommodating the edge of a rear cover plate (3) is defined by the side panel (11), the support plate (14) and the second packaging plate (13) in an enclosure manner; and the rear cover plate (3) is used for covering the back side of the liquid crystal module (2). The outer frame can not only realize good packaging of the edge of the liquid crystal module (2) and the edge of the rear cover plate (3) of the display device, but also lead to no packaging gap on the edge of the packaged display device when the edge of the packaged display device is viewed from a side direction, so that the display device packaged by the outer frame has a more eye-pleasing appearance and also becomes thinner, and it is more convenient and faster to package the edge of the display device. |
