PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrator having high coking resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a dehydrator including zeolite containing potassium and magnesium, and having a mordenite type structure. The mole ratio of SiOto AlOof the zeolite is preferably 8.0-12.0. Since the dehydrator has a small amount of adsorption of hydrocarbons, coking is hardly generated. Therefore, it is suited for adsorption and removal of moisture for a long period, and it can be used in a dehydration process of a chemical plant treating hydrocarbon gas.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
