PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-cooling vertical type engine capable of suppressing overheating at the rear part of a cylinder head.SOLUTION: A water-cooling vertical type engine includes a cooling water guide passage 15. The cooling water guide passage 15 is provided at a rear end part 2a of a block side water jacket 2, and includes passage inlets 15a, 15a and a passage outlet 15b. With a direction orthogonal to a front-back direction as a right-left direction in a view from a direction parallel with a cylinder center axial line 13, the passage inlets 15a, 15a are in front of the passage outlet 15b in the right-left direction, and opened toward the front side of the block side water jacket 2, and the passage outlet 15b is above the passage inlets 15a, 15a, and opened toward the rear end part of a head side water jacket.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
