PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of improving productivity while improving electric conductivity and a sealing property between an attached portion and the gas sensor; and a gas sensor attaching structure.SOLUTION: A gas sensor 1 has: a sensor element 2 detecting specified gas concentration in measured gas; an insulator 25 which holds a metal terminal 23 electrically connected with a positive pole of the sensor element 2 inside; and a housing 3 which inserts and holds the sensor element 2 therein and is electrically connected to a negative pole of the sensor element 2. The housing 3 has: a screw portion 332 which can be screwed with a screw hole 51 formed on an attached portion 5 to which the gas sensor 1 is fixed; and a seal portion 333 arranged oppositely to a sealed portion 53 formed so as to surround an opening portion of the screw hole 51. The seal portion 333 has an annular abutting portion 334 which locally abuts on the sealed portion 53 at a part in a diametrical direction, and abuts on the whole circumference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
