Relay control circuit with output terminal

The control circuit (IC1) has an output terminal (Q) which actuates a first electronic switch (T1) in series with the relay, according to a control signal (UST2) applied to the circuit control input (MR). The series-connection of the relay and switch lies between first supply potential (U2) terminal (AK1) and reference potential (M) terminal. An operational potential terminal (VCC) of the control circuit is coupled to a second supply potential (U1) terminal (AK2) via a second electronic switch (T1). A control terminal (B) of the second switch is coupled to the energising circuit output terminal via a feedback branch (R3,T2,R4).
