Fastening for door-handle on profiled aluminium@ frame

The fastening is for a door-handle (30) mounted on a metal, especially aluminium, profile frame (1). The frame may be made in two parts consisting of outer (2) and inner (3) hollow aluminium profiles joined together by plastics profile rails (4). The fastening for the handle engages both aluminium profiles. The fastening includes a threaded bolt (15) which fits inside a dowel (17) with a flange (18) and a set of spreading segments (19). The dowel engages in a hole in the inner profile. The part of the dowel extending towards the outer profile is cylindrical and has a male thread (20) engaging with a female thread on a sleeve (21) acting as a distance piece. The sleeve passes through two in-line holes in the outer profile and has a flange engaging the outer surface of this profile. The handle is fastened to an extension to this sleeve by a grub-screw (31) engaging a groove.
