Wood drive arrangement for saw mill

The wood lengths are pulled through the saw mill by elastic rollers (8,8') which grip the wood before and after the blades (7). Each set of rollers is mounted on a pair of swing arms (11,12) which have a common axis (18) parallel to the saw axis. This provides a secure drive unaffected by irregularities in the surface of the wood e.g. loose wood, resin etc. The rollers can be pneumatic and are driven at the same speed by a coupled drive. The outer face of the rollers is profiled for grip. The outlet of the saw mill has a trailing roller to provide a set amount of drag.
