Bollard esp. for controlling vehicles

The bollard comprises a support pipe (2) with a casing (4). The casing has a radial clearance (4) with the pipe. The lower end (5) of the pipe preferably has a surrounding collar (6). The upper end (10) has a fixing plate (12) which attaches to a cover (14). The plate has a hole (21) through which fits a screw bolt (19). The bolt and plate allow the casing to be fixed at a point between the collar and cover. The casing, collar and cover have preferably the same diameter.
