SASPASE KNOCKOUT ANIMAL

[PROBLEMS] To provide a knockout animal that is deficient in a gene encoding SASPase (hereinafter referred to as a SASPase KO animal). [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A SASPase-KO animal, in which the expression of functional SASPase is inhibited, is constructed by deleting a gene encoding stratified epithelium-specific protease (SASPase) by target disruption. The SASPase-KO animal shows a significant increase in wrinkles in the body side and so on. Thus, this SASPase-KO animal is also usable as an animal model of wrinkles.
