An integrated process for preparing HFC-trans-1234ze(trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene) is provided to allow separation of cis-1234ze from trans-1234ze, recyclization of cis-1234z3 and transformation of cis-1234ze into trans-1234ze. An integrated process for preparing 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene comprises the steps of: (a) carrying out dehydrofluorination of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane to obtain a product containing cis-1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropene and trans-1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropene; (b) optionally, recovering hydrofluoride from the product of step (a); isomerizing at least a part of cis-1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropene into trans-1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropene; and (d) recovering trans-1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropene. |
