<p>An air conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to guide discharged air and differ an air discharge area and direction periodically by using two blades driven to rotate by each motor in sequence. An air conditioner includes a main body(1) formed with an outlet(10), a first blade(13) rotatably mounted to the outlet for controlling air discharge direction, and a second blade(14) rotatably mounted to the outlet, overlapping with the first one. The first and second blades are driven by each motor(15,16) to be opened or closed in opposite directions, wherein a control part drives the motors in sequence for carrying out the opening/closing operation of the first and second blades in sequence.</p> |
