POSITION DETECING METHOD FOR TOUCH SCREEN

A method for measuring coordinates in a touch screen is provided to find a correct touch position by fixing a real contact position with a central position of a displacement sum of pixel values generated from the touch screen. A pixel detecting a touch of an object outputs a detection signal(S10). A level of a pixel value outputting the detection signal is measured(S20). Output displacement after detection of the pixel is calculated from the pixel value outputting the detection signal by subtracting a signal level value after the detection from the level before the detection from the pixel(S30). The output displacement of all pixels outputting the detection signal is summed, and a position/angle of the object is calculated by dividing total displacement into halves(S50).
