<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opto-electric transducer for which the number of components can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the opto-electric transducer 1B, an external waveguide 9 is installed in an opto-electric composite flexible wiring board 90 which is joined to the front end face 3b of a mounting substrate 3. In the opto-electric composite flexible wiring board 90, there are installed electrodes with an electrode pitch each corresponding to the mounting substrate 3 and an electric connector 6, and an electric connecting part for electrically connecting these electrodes in-between. Then, the mounting substrate 3 and the electric connector 6 are electrically joined to each electrode of the opto-electric composite flexible wiring board 90. Thus, while the electrode pitch is changed in the electric connecting part of the opto-electric composite flexible wiring board 90, the mounting substrate 3 and the electric connector 6 are electrically joined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
