PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform bending work of a mouth bent tube portion of a refrigerant tube without buckling, flattening and the like, and to provide a heat exchanger of low costs. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is composed of: a group of plate fins 1 disposed at intervals to each other; a plurality of slots 3 formed on plate faces of the plate fins 1 for inserting the refrigerant tube 2; and the refrigerant tube 2 bent in a meandering state by connecting linear tube portions 2a and bent tube portions 2b, and further comprises a tube 4 covering the mouth bent portion of the refrigerant tube 2. As a thickness is increased by the refrigerant tube 2 and the tube 4 covering the refrigerant tube 2, the bending work performed without buckling, flattening and the like.
