PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calm compressor with operating noise from a motor lessened by reducing the vibration of a stator due to pressure pulsation in a sealed vessel. SOLUTION: In the sealed vessel 1, the stator 5 of the motor 3 is installed on two planes perpendicularly intersecting the center axis 1a of the sealed vessel 1. On the planes the stator 5 is welded to the vessel 1 at three welding points 8. This allows lessening of the moving amount along the center axis 1a of the stator 5 relative to the vessel 1.
