PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit deterioration in the pump output and operating life by preventing a breakdown of an intake valve-element formed in a diaphragm resulting from rocking action of a rocking body in a small-sized pump. SOLUTION: In order to attain the above target, the small-sized pump includes a plurality of diaphragms 24 each having a pumping chamber 5 in a case. By the rocking body 25 rocked by an eccentric rotation shaft 10, the diaphragms 24 moves up and down to perform pumping operations. The shaft 25a provided in the rocking body 25 has a cross-sectional form of nearly H-shape to have a recess 25b formed in the central part. A hollow attachment 28 is provided projectingly in the rear of the bottom 24a of the diaphragm 24. The lower part of the hollow attachment 28 is bent inward, and the bent part 28a is fit close in the recess 25b provided in the shaft 25a, so that the diaphragm 24 is attached to the rocking body 25. Thus, the intake valve V<SB>1</SB>provided in the diaphragm 24 is constituted so as not to break by rocking action of the rocking body 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
