PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall assembly integrated with AV-device and a building including the wall assembly, solving the problems of disposition place, falling, drop and heat radiation of the AV device at a stroke. SOLUTION: This wall assembly includes: two columnar members 21; a retaining member 22 bridged between the columnar members 21 so as to hold an AV device; a front base board 3 and a rear base board 4 for covering a part between the columnar members 21; a vertical air passage 29 for separating the retaining member 22 from the rear base board 4; an intake port 35 provided below a display device 6 held by the retaining member 22; and an exhaust port 28 provided above it. The retaining member 22 includes: a plate member 23 whose horizontal side portions are connected to columnar members 21; a rectangular opening which is formed in the plate member 23 and into which the display device 6 is to be fitted; and clamping members 24, 25 provided in an upper side portion and a lower side portion of the opening so as to clamp the display device 6 from up and down directions.
