<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging forming apparatus and a voltage power unit which reduce rise time of voltage output from a piezoelectric transformer. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a piezoelectric transformer which outputs the voltage according to input driving frequency, a control means for controlling the driving frequency to control output voltage from the piezoelectric transformer and an image formation means for forming an image using the voltage output from the piezoelectric transformer. The control means is provided with an acquisition means for acquiring a voltage value output from the piezoelectric transformer, a setting means for setting a driving frequency corresponding to the acquired voltage value using a table in which correspondence relation between a plurality of driving frequencies and output voltage corresponding to the respective driving frequencies is preliminarily defined and a pulse generation means for generating a pulse of the driving frequency input to the piezoelectric transformer according to the set driving frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
