VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE OF IN-WHEEL MOTOR-DRIVEN AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool an in-wheel motor by efficiently using a traveling wind flowing along side surfaces of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A rear part of a vehicle body 30 is provided with a rear-wheel wheel house 40 surrounding a rear wheel 8 by extending in an arch shape outward in the vehicle width direction. A side wind introducing passage 42 extending in the vehicle body longitudinal direction and opening at the front end and the rear end is formed between right/left rear-wheel wheel houses 40L and 40R and right/left side surface 30a smoothly continuing in the vehicle body longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 30 opposed to these wheel houses. This side wind introducing passage 42 has a height overlapping with the in-wheel motor, and a casing 11 of the in-wheel motor is exposed to the side wind introducing passage 42.
