PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression packaging apparatus which can easily recover compressed garbage, easily and efficiently perform the compression packaging work of the object to be compressed, and can make a bale high in bulk density. SOLUTION: The compression packaging apparatus is composed of: a separation box 2 as a storage part for storing the object to be compressed; and a body 6 provided with a compression means 3 for compressing the object to be compressed stored in the separation box 2, and if required, the separation box 2 can be attached/detached to the body 6.
