<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both the offset printing aptitude and the flexographic printing aptitude so that the offset printing or the flexographic printing can be performed on the thermosensitive recording surface responding correctly to the users' intention without losing any of the thermosensitive recording nature. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermosensitive recording body consisting of, on a support, a thermosensitive recording stratum containing leuco dye, coloring agent and binder resin, and a protective layer, as the top most layer on the in which the thermosensitive recording stratum is prepared, containing pigment and binder resin, boric acid of 0.05-1.5 mass% content against thermosensitive recording stratum total solid is contained in the thermosensitive recording stratum, and alkali salt of water-soluble copolymer of hydrophobic monomer and polycarboxylic acid of 0.1-4.8 mass% content against the protective layer total solid is contained in the protective layer, and at least one binder resin from among the thermosensitive recording stratum and the protective layer is a polyvinyl alcohol resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
