<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid alkaline fuel cell having excellent electrode reaction, in which a process of forming a catalyst layer is made simple and easy, and which inhibits pores in the catalyst layer from being crushed in shipping and transportation work prior to operation, and to provide an operation method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The solid alkaline fuel cell 20 includes: an anion conductive solid polyelectrolyte film 1; a catalyst electrode 5 which serves as an anode electrode formed by laminating the catalyst layer 3 and a porous conductive substrate 4 on one face of the anion conductive sold polyelectrolyte film 1 in this order; a catalyst electrode 15 which serves as a cathode electrode formed by laminating the catalyst layer 13 and the porous conductive substrate 14 on the other face of the anion conductive solid polyelectrolyte film 1 in this order; separators (7, 17) arranged on the respective outer surfaces of the catalyst electrodes (5, 15); and a pore-forming agent 6 mixed with at least either one of the catalyst layers (3, 13). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
