<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of propagation path presumption upon receiving signals from a plurality of antennas. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitting device of a base station includes a preamble A generating unit, a preamble B generating unit, phase rotating units, multiplexing units, an error correction coding unit, an S/P converting unit, a mapping unit, a changeover switch, IDFT units, P/S converting units, GI (Guard Interval) inserting units, D/A converting units, radio transmitting units and antenna units. In the preamble A generating unit and the preamble B generating unit, a preamble A and a preamble B are generated, respectively. The preamble A is output to the multiplexing units. The preamble B is output to the phase rotating unit.
