PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing device capable of maintaining a smooth slide movement on a smooth plane for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A slide bearing device 1 includes a sliding plate 7 fixed to a lower surface of a sole plate 9 fixed to a lower surface of an upper structure 11, and a bearing body 2 which is fixed to an upper surface of a base plate 10 fixed to an upper surface of a lower structure 12 to be installed between the base plate 10 and the sliding plate 7. The sliding plate 7 has a downward projecting annular peripheral wall 7a at a peripheral edge, and is mounted on an upper surface of an upper shoe 5 as an upper end member of the bearing body 2 to slidably move and also provided with a flexible cover member 8 for closure between an outer peripheral surface of the bearing body 2 and an inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 7a. |
