PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch mechanism which can be arranged even in a narrow arrangement space, and which can directly switch between the connection and disconnection states of a clutch; and to provide a motor unit for a washing machine which accommodates the clutch mechanism therein.SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism includes: a second rotor which is arranged coaxially with a first rotor rotationally driven by a first motor, and which can be engaged with the first rotor; and a lift mechanism which displaces the second rotor in an axial direction and switches between the engagement and separation of the second rotor and the first rotor. The lift mechanism includes a frame rotational mechanism for rotating a frame member. The frame rotational mechanism includes a second motor which is rotatable in both directions, a worm gear, a worm wheel, a lead screw, and a nut. There is also provided a motor unit for a washing machine including the clutch mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
