PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission structure ranging from a differential mechanism to a wheel axis, which achieves cost reduction and improvement in compactness while securing required support strength of a wheel shaft.SOLUTION: The power transmission structure is constituted of: a differential mechanism; a differential output shaft extended from the differential mechanism; a gear shaft arranged in parallel to the differential output shaft; a wheel shaft arranged at the same shaft center relative to the gear shaft; a first deceleration gear mechanism which is interposed between the differential output shaft and the gear shaft; and a second deceleration gear mechanism which is interposed between the gear shaft and the wheel shaft. The first gear mechanism is configured by engaging a first spur gear to be fixed to the differential output shaft with a second spur gear to be fixed to the gear shaft. The second deceleration gear mechanism is a planetary gear mechanism which is configured by combining a sun gear to be fixed to the gear shaft, a carrier to be fixed to the wheel shaft, a planetary gear which is pivotally supported to the carrier and engaged with the sun gear and an internal gear which engages with the planetary gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
