PURPOSE: A rock piece shear supporting device is provided to easily obtain displacement to be measured. CONSTITUTION: The present invention discloses a rock piece shear supporting device comprising:a base(100) having left and right flanges(101,102); a guide rail(110) mounted on the top surface of the base(100); a table(120) mounted to be straight slid on the guide rail(110); a rock piece fixing lower clamper(1) mounted on the top surface of the table(120); the first hydraulic cylinder asserting horizontal force to the sheared face of the rock piece fixed to the lower clamper(1); a load cell(140) mounted between the table(120) and the first hydraulic cylinder(130) and sensing horizontal shearing force; a head(150) supported to be vertically slid on the other flange(101) of the base(100); an upper and lower spherical seats(160,10'); and an upper clamper(2); the second hydraulic cylinder(180); a load cell(190).
