PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden for selecting a water level indicator to be read by an operator in response to an operation condition of a plant. SOLUTION: This system is provided with plural water level gages 5-9 provided to measure various water levels in a nuclear reactor, a computor 36 for judging a condition of the nuclear reactor, for selecting the water level gages 5-9 optimum to the condition, and for computing the water levels based on signals from the gages 5-9, and a display 37 for displaying the water levels. The computor 36 judges the condition of the reactor to select automatically the optimal level gages 5-9 based on a result therein, and the water levels are displayed on the one display 37. The burden is thereby reduced when the operator selects the plural level indicators to be read.
