PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dimensions of a motor of a fuel pump by reducing dimensions of an armature cover. SOLUTION: In this brush incorporating structure of a fuel pump, brushes 10 are incorporated to brush holders 21 of an armature cover 1 so as to have one side end surfaces of the brushes energized and the other side end surfaces of the brushes pressed against commutators. The brush incorporation structure has feeding pigtails provided on the one side ends of the brushes, one or more pigtail drawing-out grooves 11 which are formed in one side ends of the brushes and arranged in a circumferential direction around the bearing hole of the armature cover and guide grooves 22 which are provided in the brush holders so as to correspond to the pigtail drawing-out grooves. The drawing-out direction of the pigtail, 12 extended from the one side end surface of the brush and guided by the pigtail drawing-out groove and the guide groove, is a circumferential direction. Feeding terminals 2 provided on the ends of the pigtails are arranged approximately on the circle on which the pigtail drawing-out grooves are arranged.
