PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition excellent in low rolling resistance and wet performance and also excellent in scorching property when the rubber composition is formed into a tire.SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises a rubber component containing 10 mass% or more of conjugated diene rubber (A), a mercapto-based silane coupling agent (B), and silica (C), in which the conjugated diene rubber (A) contains 5 mass% or more of a specific structure (a), the content of the mercapto-based silane coupling agent (B) is 0.5-20 mass% based on the content of the silica (C), and the content of the silica (C) is 5-150 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. |
