CAST COATED PAPER FOR PROCESS PAPER SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cast coated paper which is used as a substrate of process paper for production of synthetic leather and has good durability to solvents and excellent repeating usability and properties of manifesting glossiness of process paper.SOLUTION: Cast coated paper has an under layer and a cast layer, formed in order on at least one side of base paper. The under layer contains an organic pigment in a blending ratio of 1-50 pts.wt. of the organic pigment to 100 pts.wt. of an inorganic pigment, and the cast layer does not contain an organic pigment.
