摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device and a charge control method, with which it is possible to, when controlling charge of and discharge from a storage battery with time, effectively utilize electric power based on natural energy supplied from a power conversion circuit.SOLUTION: A power supply device includes: an output terminal that is connected to an external load; a charge/discharge terminal that is connected to the output terminal and a storage battery; a power conversion circuit that outputs a DC voltage from an AC or DC power supply source to the output terminal; a rectifier that receives input from the AC power supply source and outputs a DC voltage to the output terminal; and a control part that has a charge mode and a discharge mode. In the charge mode, the control part exerts control so that when a charge amount of the storage battery charged by a current supplied through the charge/discharge terminal is smaller than a target charge amount calculated in advance, the output from the rectifier is increased so that the target charge amount is reached, and when the charge amount of the storage battery charged by the current supplied through the charge/discharge terminal is larger than the target charge amount calculated in advance, the output from the rectifier is decreased.
