PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting device capable of suppressing reduction of optical output by saturation of gain.SOLUTION: In a semiconductor light-emitting device 100, a laminate structure 102 has an optical waveguide 160, the optical waveguide 160 includes: a linear waveguide part 162 extending from a light emission part 181 provided on a front end surface 131 of the laminate structure 102 along a straight line L inclined to a normal P of the front end surface 131 of the laminate structure 102; and a curve waveguide part 164 including a curve waveguide 165 continuous to the linear waveguide part 162 and with a shape having curvature, and density of current to be implanted to the linear waveguide part 162 located between a first electrode 120 and a second electrode 122 is larger than density of current to be implanted to the curve waveguide part 164 located between the first electrode 120 and a third electrode 124. |
