PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device which has high a light emitting efficiency and a long device service life, and can be easily manufactured, together with a manufacturing method thereof and an image display medium. SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescent device, at least a layer of an organic compound layer contains at least one kind of charge transportive polyether.
