A modular electronic equipment system (100) includes a plurality of equipment racks (140,240). The system further includes a power distribution rack (110,210). The power distribution rack (110,210) includes a power distribution rack frame (215) and a plurality of second connectors (117) supported by the power distribution rack frame (215) and configured to pluggably mate with the first connectors (143,243) of the equipment racks (140,240).
