<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which the reflector is not made large, and sufficient light quantity incident on a light guide plate 9 is retained. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal cell 2, a light guide plate 9 disposed on the rear side of the liquid crystal cell 2, a first linear light source 13 and a second linear light source 14 both arranged so as to be opposite to a side face 9a of the light guide plate 9 and being separated from each other in the thickness direction of the light guide plate 9, and the reflector 11 covering the first linear light source 13 and the second linear light source 14, wherein the diameters of the first linear light source 13 and the second linear light source 14 are different from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
