<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular input device capable of operating an operation unit without watching an image on a display unit. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicular input device, an operation unit 20 with an operation switch arranged thereon, and a display unit 40 for displaying the arrangement position of the operation switch on the operation unit 20 and displaying an operation menu image for indicating its function are separately arranged at the physically separate positions in a cabin. The vehicular input device comprises an image pickup means 50 for picking up an image of a hand of the operator for operating the operation unit 20, a synthesis display means for extracting the image of the hand picked up by the image pickup means 50, synthesizing the image with the operation menu image, and displaying it on the display unit 40, and a visual expression control means for changing the visual expression in a predetermined area of the display unit 40 based on the kind of the operation switch indicated by the image of the hand which is synthesis-displayed in the display unit 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
