<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote musical performance system for performing a completely synchronized musical performance even via a network by separating a side which provides a live musical performance and a side which is provided with the live musical performance. <P>SOLUTION: A live musical performance of a plurality of parts is performed in a first layer as the most upstream side, and a musical performance of favorite parts of the live musical performance are selected in a following second layer to synthesize accompaniment sounds (Karaoke performance), which is used to perform an original live musical performance (including a singing, and so forth). When the live musical performance of the second layer includes a plurality of parts, the live musical performance of the plurality of parts of the second layer is used to perform a live musical performance of a third layer, similar to the second layer.
