<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling member keeping a cooling effect and realizing prolonged cooling time of the cooling member. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling member contains a cooling medium 11 filled in a closed vessel 10. The cooling medium contains heat-insulating porous materials 12 dispersed in the medium and movable in the medium. Especially the specific gravity of the heat-insulating porous material is nearly equal to that of the cooling medium, and the heat-insulating porous material is preferably made of a ceramic material.
