PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to perform an editing operation in the case of deleting or correcting input characters.

SOLUTION: This input character edition device is provided with a character string display part 34 for displaying input characters so that the characters can be edited; a character selection part 46 for making a user select at least one of characters displayed at the character display part 34; a character deletion part 42 for deleting the characters selected by the character selection part 46; a character attribute management part 66 for acquiring character attributes associated with the character string display part 34; and a keyboard display part 32 for displaying an operation input part associated with the character attributes. The keyboard display part 32 displays the operation input part associated with the character attributes when the characters are deleted by the character deletion part 42.
